Hi, I'm

Kim_font

The founder of Birthing Bliss!

This work comes from years of training and certification, but even more from lived experience, deep listening, and devotion to the body’s wisdom. Through birth, motherhood, yoga, and walking alongside families, I came to understand something simple and profound:

When the body feels safe, it softens
When it softens, it opens
And from that place, trust and transformation unfold naturally

Birthing Bliss grew slowly. Real families, real births, real moments that changed everything for them and quietly changed me too. Over time, what felt separate began to come together into one approach rooted in presence and nervous system care. This is the work I live!

The Dandelion

It's the sacred symbol of Birthing Bliss because it reflects the nature of this work.

Rooted, resilient, and intuitive, it grows where it is planted and releases its seeds to the wind, letting them find their way. Like birth and becoming, it reminds us that strength and softness can coexist, that growth happens in its own time, and that what is true to itself will always find its way to rise.

The heart-shaped dandelion represents both love and release, the courage to soften and trust what unfolds.

The Bliss Infusion

BLISS is a rhythm I created through experience. It's a way of holding space that feels intentional, embodied, and safe.

B — Breathe with Intention
L — Lengthen & Let Go
I  — Ignite Love

S — Set a Heartfelt Intention
S — Savor & Surrender in Total Bliss

BLISS is my nervous system's love language. Through scent, sound, warmth, rhythm, and ritual, I create spaces where the body feels safe enough to soften. This is nervous system care. It's safety you can feel. It's reverence in practice. It's the body remembering it can rest.

Training, Lineage
& Sacred Study

  • My work is years of formal trainings, mentorships, and embodied practice across birth support, yoga, Reiki, trauma-aware care, and holistic traditions.

  • Yoga is the heart of my work. My 300+ hours of yoga teacher training and prenatal studies, including Birth Wisdom prenatal yoga, were not simply certifications. They were initiations that shaped how I listen, pace, and honor the nervous system.

  • Reiki deepened my understanding of energy, attunement, and subtle support, shaping how I hold space with care, consent, and reverence.

  • Alongside this, my background includes extensive training in birth and postpartum doula support, childbirth education, and trauma informed practice. I remain devoted to ongoing learning, integration, and becoming.

  • For many years, I served families throughout the greater Central Valley as Kim, Your Doting Doula. As my work expanded integrating yoga, Reiki, nervous-system support, and ritual care it became clear that the container needed to expand too. Birthing Bliss honors that evolution.

More About Kim...

I've had the great fortune of being a stay at home mom to my one and only handsome son, and wife to my high school sweetheart. I've soaked up every second in the 18 years of raising him, including homeschooling until junior high. As he successfully continued his education, pursuing his passions in life and gaining his independence, I've been finding mine too.

I'm completely obsessed with every aspect of birth. When I'm not providing amazing care to moms and families, I'm continuing training, reading, attending workshops, online seminars and anything else I can find to further expand my knowledge and my own well being.

Connecting with moms and families on a personal level and meeting their needs is my passion. Family time is sacred to me. Nothing brings me greater joy than the smiles on my loved ones' faces.

I naturally move into making sacred spaces wherever I am. it just flows from me. I see hearts everywhere in life. They appear when I least expect them, gently reminding me that love is always around us. To flow in bliss and savor life's simple pleasures: flowers, essential oils, crystal hearts and my mala (best enjoyed from my big fluffy cloud chair or my cozy balcony).

A Closing Note

Birthing Bliss is more than a business. It's a reflection of how I live and how I serve. This is a space to feel safe enough to soften. Supported enough to open. And seen enough to become.

I'm honored to walk beside you!
